STC provides research, development, test, and evaluation support to the CBC related to chemical and biological sensors and detection systems on the Research, Development, Technical Management and Administrative Support Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Our scientists and engineers apply artificial intelligence and machine learning tools and applications to improve the algorithms in fielded and developmental systems, study aerosols, participate in technology demonstrations, and develop software and sensor interfaces to integrate sensors into command-and-control systems.
STC is an awardee on the Scientific, Technical, Engineering and Program Support Services (STEPSS) IDIQ for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering system development, and chemical, biological demilitarization operation needs of CBRNE Defense agencies.
STC provides test support and machining, welding, painting, and fabrication services to the Aberdeen Test Center’s developmental testing of acquisition systems.
STC performs research, software development, and systems administration services for GIS, hardware and software support, and geospatial software development and dissemination. STC’s skilled scientists perform R&D related to cold regions mission requirements using satellite and LiDAR data to solve strategically important problems.
STC is a Small Business OASIS+ awardee in the Technical & Engineering Domain (engineering, geoscience, or other technical professional skills) and Research & Development Domain (basic and applied research, experimental development).

Partnering with the U.S. Space Force and industry, STC demonstrated a low-cost, agile approach to space-based weather sensing. Our 6U pathfinder mission combined COTS cameras, modular design, and innovative radiometric modeling to deliver high-performance imaging at a fraction of the cost—proving the viability of scalable, affordable constellations for future weather missions.
