From Orbit to Forecast

Transforming raw satellite data into actionable weather insights.

In partnership with NOAA NESDIS, STC develops advanced algorithms that measure the state of the atmosphere from Earth-orbiting satellites. This critical data powers some of the world’s most accurate weather predictions. By turning raw satellite observations into actionable insights, we accelerate the delivery of vital forecast information to forecasters, decision-makers, and the public.

From Ground to Cloud

Modernizing Earth weather operations for a digital future.

STC supports NOAA in moving essential data, models, and workflows from on-premise systems into secure, scalable cloud environments. Our work improves speed, efficiency, and accessibility—ensuring NOAA scientists and partners can deliver forecasts and climate insights faster than ever before. By bridging traditional infrastructure with next-generation cloud solutions, we help strengthen NOAA’s mission from the ground up.

From Data to Digital Twin

Creating dynamic models of Earth for smarter decisions.

STC supports NOAA in advancing digital twin technologies that replicate complex Earth systems — atmosphere, ocean, land, and climate — in real time. By fusing satellite data, environmental models, and cloud computing, we build interactive platforms that let scientists and decision-makers test scenarios, predict impacts, and explore “what-if” futures. These digital twins transform raw data into living systems, enabling more accurate forecasts, stronger resilience planning, and sustainable stewardship of our planet. Learn more HERE.
